We returned from a trip to Montreal. What a great town! As a vacation spot, Montreal has everything: friendly people, French food, interesting things to see and do. Plus -- lots of Tango.
Thursday night, we visited the "Academie du Tango" on rue St-Laurent. Like all of the clubs in town, the Academie is highly recommended. Good size floor and nice atmosphere. Friday, we selected "Tangueria." Once again, very friendly atmosphere and good music. Saturday, we visited "Tango Libre" on rue Marie-Anne. The club is smartly decorated & sure to please. We met a very nice woman named Diane and her dance partner Andre. Diane took us out to another visit to "Tangueria" and then drove us back to our hotel! Sunday, we took advantage of another trip to the "Academie du Tango." Like all of the DJs in the clubs we visited, the DJ was very good. We met so many friendly people and had such a great time that we cannot wait to return to Montreal.
