I want to comment on Naomi's post, below.

I haven't been to a workshop at La Rogaia, but I've been to a few milongas
there and I agree that the place, a remote complex of stone houses in the
Umbrian hills, is indeed beautiful. The night sky there is a spectacle of
stars like I haven't often seen. I want to add that the hosts, Annette
Griefenhagen and Wolfgang Sandt, are sweet and generous people who seem to
care a lot about their guests' happiness and wellbeing. They have
restored this artists' and dancers' retreat with their own hands,
especially Wolfgang, a sculptor who has gone as far as to carve the
kitchen and bathroom sinks out of marble! This couple has been selfless
in giving their energies to promote tango in the Perugia area.

Maybe I'll see some of you there with Amira (Oct. 1-8) or with Yvonne
Meissner (Sept. 30 & Oct 1).
