Chicho & Lucia, last weekend in the USA until late 2001.

The weekend of the October 14th and 15th will mark C&L last weekend of their
extended West Coast visit.

Take advantage of this opportunity to study, in depth, with two fantastic and
wonderfully creative teachers that are taking tango in a fascinating new
direction. Explore with them a fresh approach to learning (or re-learning)
tango that will free you from the shackles of memorization and patterns.
Studying with them will not only polish technique and execution, but literally
change your understanding of the dance, regardless of personal style.

The Saturday classes will cover:
I - Giros and sacadas using the elements in the Naveira-Salas school.
II - Changes of direction and traveling ganchos.

The Sunday classes will cover:
VII - Combinations, improvising intricate sequences with simple elements.
VIII - Surprise Class!!! Secrets revealed! Complex combinations for
advanced/experienced dancers.

Although all the classes are advanced and the degree of difficulty high,
particularly Sunday's, if you are an intermediate dancer and have never been to
an advanced class, you are nevertheless invited to participate and experience
the possibilities of tango danced and taught in this way. The classes follow a
progression from one to the next one, so we strongly advise you take all of the
weekend's classes as a package.

Both Saturday and Sunday classes are from 1-3pm and 3:30-5:30pm, at 3631 Hayden
Ave., Culver City (cross street National, 3 blocks from Venice Blvd.). Each
class is $28.

Chicho and Lucia are a tour-de-force for anyone with a yearning to become a
better dancer, from beginner to professional, and whether you are a milonguero,
a salon or a 'tango nuevo' aficionado.

After this extended visit to the West Coast, they will fly to Paris for their
European tour before the Congreso Internacional de Tango in Buenos Aires in
March, and will not return to the West Coast until late 2001.

Chicho & Lucia, a must for men and women serious about their tango.
