David, I did not visit many cities in Germany. However, according to my research, Berlin was THE city for tango in Germany, where we visited this June and had wonderful time. You can go to milongas every night, and many at same night on weekend.

For instance, Montreal, Canada has four or more tango salons with classes or events at least six days a week. Likewise, the San Francisco Bay Area of California, has as many studios with a similar number of events. Is there a city in Germany that is considered a Mecca for tango?
