I wanted to remind you that in two weeks, after his appearance at the
Tangofest in Portland:
RAMIRO GIGLIOTTI,
part of the 'Grupo Graciela Gonzales', on his tour of the US and Canada
this Fall,
will stop in LOS ANGELES and
give his already famous in Buenos Aires,
MUSIC WORKSHOP FOR DANCERS.
Good dancer and professional musician, Ramiro put all his insider
knowledge of music at the service of tango dancers.
- In this workshop he explores the structure of music as a way to
understand and dance to the music following the different intricate
themes that make the music so beautiful.
- He will explore different ways to step on the beat and to create
syncopation and traspie, all for tango milonga and waltz.
- He makes you understand deeply the differences between the various
orchestras. what make them different and why they inspire us certain
things rather than others.
And so on I could tell you a lot about it since I was so fortunate to
take this workshop in Buenos Aires last June, it is really great and
changed my perception of the dance, made me more aware and improved my
way of following as a woman, but I am sure a man can get even more out
of it on how to dance to the music and how to play freely with it.
