January 5 and every Friday in January, Marcelo continues his intermediate level group class at the Lafayette Dance Centre, 3369 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm followed by a half hour of practice. The price is $50 for a 4 week session and $15 for each class on a drop in basis.
He offers a review of fundamentals from 8-8:30 pm. Those taking the review join the intermediate level class 8:30-9:30 pm. For those who want to continue from 8-10 pm they pay an additional $5. ************************************************************************************* On January 12 and 19, Maria Andrea Solero will teach a "Follower's Technique Class". Maria is from Rosario, Argentina. She studied with Marcelo Solis and Yanina Messina and is very well known in Rosario as one of the last generation tango dancers. Maria is a serious tango aficionado with a lot of passion and dedication to this art form. She has and continues to study modern dance, jazz and ballet. In addition, she has studied with some of the best teachers in BsAs. ************************************************************************************* Marcelo is also available to give private lessons in Lafayette.
