The following text appearted in the newspaper "24 Heures" on January 8 20001, under the section: VOIR Theatre 2.21, rue de l'Industrie 10, in Lausanne. From the 9 through 28 January. Reservations (021) 311 65 14 "A love-triangle, dependence and emotional blackmail; in Créanciers, by August Strindberg, we see the fetish elements of the swedish drama writer unified into one element. Strindberg was the author of PELICAN which played last Fall in Vidy, and of the piece MADEMOISELLE JULIE. Presented by the company THEATRE SOUS PRESSION, the piece (already written 1 century ago!) lays bare the suffocating intimate details of a power-struggle inside of a couple. Who said that the subject has grown out of its time?! Here lies a continued-violence, of a northern tinge, that has been illustrated by the performers, a paradox which promises to be interesting, and supported by the the blood-red rivlets and rythmes of the tango (...)".
