Our workshops do not usually sell out, but owing to the greater-than-
usual attendance expected at this one, we recommend advance

  Saturday, 17 February 2001 (Beginners through Advanced)
  10:45 - 11:00 am: Registration & warm-up
  11:00 am - Noon: T1: TANGO FUNDAMENTALS 1. Essential for beginners,
  recommended for all.
  12:15 - 1:15 pm: T2: TANGO FUNDAMENTALS 2. Essential for beginners
  with T1, recommended for all.
  2:00 - 3:00 pm: T3: Tango Technique & Figures 1. Recommended for all.
  Open to more experienced beginners with T1+T2.
  3:15 - 4:15 pm: T4: Tango Technique & Figures 2. Recommended for all.
  Open to more experienced beginners with T1-T3.
  4:30 - 5:30 pm: V1: Tango Vals (Waltz) 1. Vals rhythm and technique.
  Use of Tango figures in Vals.
  8:30 pm - 12:30 am: LA MILONGA. Proper dress requested. Hors
  d'oeuvres and refreshments served.

  Sunday, 18 February 2001 (Intermediate through Advanced)
  11:45 am - noon: Registration and warm-up
  Noon - 1:00 pm: T5: Intermediate Tango 1. For intermediate to
  advanced dancers.
  1:15 - 2:15 pm: T6: Intermediate Tango 2. For intermediate to
  advanced dancers.
  3:00 - 4:00 pm: V2: Tango Vals (Waltz) 2. For more advanced dancers.
  4:15 - 5:15 pm: A1: Advanced Tango 1. For advanced dancers.
  5:30 - 6:30 pm: A2: Advanced Tango 2. For advanced dancers.

  Monday, 19 February 2001 (For Advanced dancers)
  7:15 - 7:30 pm: Registration & warm-up
  7:30 - 9:00 pm: A3: ADVANCED.
  9:30 - 11:00 pm: A4: ADVANCED (cont'd).
  A3-4 are for the most advanced dancers only. Please check with the
  instructor on Sunday if you are unsure (refunds will be given if you
  preregistered but do not take A3-A4 based on instructor's
  recommendation). A1+A2 are prerequisites.

Workshops cost as little as $13/hour of instruction (members). Students
get a 30% additional discount on all prices below (except membership).

Monday, 12 February 2001 if sent by US mail. You may also pay in person

PRIVATE LESSONS & SUPPLEMENTARY CLASSES

Private lessons will be available only during the daytime on Monday, 19

OTHER INFORMATION

The VFW Mt. Auburn Post is air-conditioned and spacious. Classes may
sell out--please call TangoLine for current status or check
www.bostontango.org. No partner is necessary--there will be partner
changes. Wear leather-soled shoes comfortable for dancing. Light snacks
will be provided during workshop breaks. Dress is casual for the
workshops. However, "La Milonga" is a more formal dance and appropriate
attire is requested. You are strongly encouraged to take workshops
progressively to get the most out of the weekend.
