Southern California Argentine Tango Instructors teach workshop in Hawai'i on Valentine's weekend!
Brian and Fay, a teaching duo well-known to Tangueros in California, will offer a two-day workshop in Honolulu, Feb 17 & 18. Known for their careful attention to basic technique, and their ability to communicate the soul and structure of the dance in a clear and understandable manner, Brian & Fay have introduced thousands to the beauty of Argentine Tango since they began teaching in 1993. Part of each 3-hour class will be devoted to posture, walking exercises, fundamental technique, and the woman's role. The remainder of each class will build on these basics, and their application in Tango, Milonga, & Vals Cruzado. The importance of understanding & interpreting the music will be stressed throughout. The workshop will be open to dancers of all levels. Brian & Fay will also be available for privates from February 14 - 21. When? Saturday February 17 Sunday February 18 4 - 7 pm Where?
