Brooke Burdett, well-known for her tango workshops throughout U.S. and abroad as well as for her role in tango instructional videos produced with Daniel Trenner and Mariano Frumboli (better known as "Chicho"), will be conducting her workshops and private lessons in Washington DC, which is one of the cities that she will visit during her U.S. tour in Spring 2001. Accomplished in the roles of both follower and leader, Brooke looks at the core elements of movement, technique, rhythm and awareness necessary to dance tango with strength, substance, fluidity and personal style. As a North American living in Buenos Aires, she offers a unique interpretation of the dance.
