M.Varela & Analia are back in the BAY Area. They will teach a Workshop at the Campbell Milonga in the Spectrum on Sunday April 8th. 3pm to 6 pm. The format is 1 1/4 hour class, 1/2 an hour break and 1 1/4 hour class. Total 2.5 hours of class. Coverage is Argentine Folk dances like Chacarera, Ranchera Argentina, Chamamé (cha-mah-'may), etc. Fundamentals, movements, steps, musicality. This is what argentine people dance in the intermissions in traditional milongas in Buenos Aires. This time we have the opportunity to get a teaching exposure from Marcelo Varela & Analia who are experienced dancers in the Folk Dances of Argentina.
