Heini:
I went to Spain last summer on a group tour. I checked a web page for which
there were a lot of listings. However, for the cities I visited, NONE were
correct. Reactions ranged from "no mas tango" (tango isn't danced here
anymore) to "nunca bailemos tango aqui (tango was never danced here).
(Please forgive my terrible Spanish if I made a mistake.)

I found a place to dance in downtown Madrid. Only 20% of the attendees
danced, the other 80% drank, smoked, and socialized.
Paso Doble is popular there.

Good Luck. Hope you're able to find some tango.

Michael

Subject: EU-W: Any experiences dancing tango in Madrid

Hi!

I would appreciate any information concerning the argentine tango
communities in Madrid. I'm going to stay there 21-25. March. Those who have
experienced the place, please, give a helping hand to get in contact with
local organisers. Prefirably English speaking.

Thank you in advance
