Explore the wonders of Egypt and tango under the desert sky. Your tango
instructors will be the celebrated pair, FABIAN SALAS and CAROLINA DEL RIVERO,
and exotic EL INDIO AND MARIANA from Buenos Aires.
The tour begins Nov. 8 with 8 nights in Cairo. Shop in the famous markets
there for leather, jewelry, weavings and gems. Take a sail on a
“felluca”, Egyptian sail boat. Ride a camel into the desert at
sunset. Take some belly dance lessons. Slink into tango classes with your new
Cleopatra headress or your crisp Egyptian cotton shirts, and polish your
dancing with four of the best teachers in the world.
There will be many sight seeing adventures on this trip, so bring some good
walking shoes!
After Cairo, we take a three day, four night cruise along the Nile, an
unmatched opportunity to see and experience the best of everything Egypt has to
offer. Your luxurious but action-packed itinerary will take you back thousands
of years to the days of the ancient Pharoahs and Queens of Egypt. Some of our
ports of call will be: the enormous Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Edfu, and
Horus, the falcon-headed god. Also, the Temple of Dendarha, of “high
magic” where the Egyptian zodiac was iscovered. We also have special
permission to dance in the Temple of Isis by night!

arrive by the 8th, and leave on the 20th.
