The best place to find milongas is Richard Lipkin's "Guide to NY Argentine Tango" at users.erols.com/ezie (NO www in front of users.) It lists milongas and practicas by day. Beneath the calendar are details about the locations (address, phone number, etc.) When I travel to New York, I use the discount internet site www.180096hotel.com Click on New York. You'll be prompted for arrival date, number of nights and beds. Click on price on the right side and hotels will be displayed in ascending price order. Specials appear first. To check out the subway and bus system, go to www.mta.nyc.ny.us Click on New York City Bus and then Manhattan to get bus maps. Click on the picture of a subway to get the subway map and schedules.
