It's now confirmed--the fabulous COLOR TANGO Orchestra from Buenos Aires will appear at Tango Fireworks 2001, Southern California's first week-long tango congress, to be held July 1 - 7 in Redondo Beach. One of the hottest tango bands in the world, this superb group recreates many of the original Pugliese Orchestra arrangements from the 1940s, in addition to playing their own original arrangements of tangos ranging from the classics to Piazzola. COLOR TANGO will play for dancing at the Tango Fireworks milongas on Friday and Saturday, July 6 and 7, and will play a public concert on Sunday, July 8 at a location to be announced. If you haven't already registered for Tango Fireworks 2001, don't delay.
