A Puro Tango is proud to present two of Buenos Aires' most popular maestros
and young milongueros, JULIO BALMACEDA and CORINA DE LA ROSA, who will be
teaching in Los Angeles April 25, 26 & 27.

Julio & Corina are two of the most talented and respected of Buenos Aires'
new generation of milongueros (social tango dancers). Their classes in
Buenos Aires are among the most popular in that city and they are
particularly renowned for their men's and women's technique classes. Julio
and Corina are in tremendous demand around the world, teaching much of each
year in Europe, Japan and the United States. In 1998, they joined the cast
of Forever Tango on Broadway and on the U.S. national tour. Julio learned
tango from his father, the late, revered milonguero Miguel Balmaceda, a
legendary teacher who taught many of today's tango stars the art of social
tango. Corina studied and taught classical dance at the National Institute
of Dance in Argentina. They have danced together since 1996, and are
especially known for combining elegance with rhythm and musicality. They
bring an energy and joy to their dancing and teaching that makes their
classes irresistible. Classes 1 and 3 will be appropriate for all levels of
tango experience.
