NORAS TANGO WEEK 2001 - BREAKING NEWS
Because we have some of the Worlds greatest Choreographers of
Argentine Tango teaching this year, NORAS TANGO WEEK has decided to
add a Fourth Salon by introducing a Choreography Class during TANGO
WEEK, Jul 9-Jul l3. This class will be open to highly advanced and/or
professional-level Argentine-Tango Dancers/Instructors.
This class is an addition to our previously announced schedule of
beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and is not a substitute
class. We will have four salons going simultaneously each day during
Tango Week, Jul 9-Jul 13. The Choreography Classes will be held daily,
consisting of two classes in the morning and two classes in the
afternoon. They will include, but not be limited to, the fundamentals
of developing choreography, selection of music and costumes.
This added class is NOT included during TANGO WEEKEND, Jul 6-Jul 8.
Due to the nature of the class, it is necessary to have a partner
to participate. You and your partner should both have the skills
outlined above in Paragraph One.
The class will be limited in size and will be filled on a
first-come first-served basis. If you are qualified and would like to
participate in this class, you can request to be enrolled at the time
you send in your registration to NORAS TANGO WEEK. People already
registered in NORAS TANGO WEEK as of April 15 and who feel that they
are qualified as described in Paragraph One and wish to participate
will be given priority for enrollment, but must notify us of their
decision by April 30.
