To All Tangueros and Tangueras,
Tickets for the Milongas of NORAS TANGO WEEK 2001 are now
officially on sale.
The prices for July 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 are $20.00 each. The
prices for July 8 and 13 (Performance Nights by the Masters) are
$25.00 each. Special prices: If you purchase tickets for ALL three
Milongas of Tango Weekend, July 6, 7 and 8, the price is $50.00. If
you purchase tickets for ALL five Milongas of Tango Week, July 9
through 13, the price is $80.00.
To purchase tickets, make checks payable to Bob Moretti, and mail
to P.O. Box 4523, Chico, CA 95927. NO credit-cards, please.
Tickets will be promptly mailed to you upon receipt of your
payment.
There are limited tickets for sale and are sold on a first-come
basis. In the past, the Milongas of the two Performance Nights (this
year: July 8 and July 13) are always sold-out early. If you plan to
attend either one of these nights, we recommend that you purchase your
tickets as soon as possible.
Live music EVERY night by the "Tito Castro Trio." DJ music by
Emilio Flores.
Themes for the Milongas are as follows
July 7 and 10: The 1940s.
July 12: Masked Ball.
July 8 and 13: Performance Nights by the Masters.
All Milongas are held at the "Top of the Bay Ballroom" at the
Holiday Inn in Emeryville, CA. Hours are: 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m..
