WEEKEND WORKSHOPS WITH PABLO VERON & NOEL STRAZZA
(Sat-Sun, 20-21 October 2001)

PABLO VERON and NOEL STRAZZA are back! The last time they came to
Boston, their workshops were sold out (except for advance registrants),
so we especially encourage you to register in advance this time, and
check TangoLine at 617-699-6246 and http://www.bostontango.org/ for
updates.

Pablo Veron has a very limited touring schedule for workshops, so come
to Boston and experience our nice fall weather and the foliage season
too. We will keep a limited number of spaces available for out-of-town
visitors registering in advance. You can still get good 2-week
advance purchase fares. Information for visitors, including
a link for hotel information, at the bottom.

See the on-line flyer (PDF format) at
http://www.bostontango.org/special-events/ for full details and a
registration form that you can print out and mail in! Check out
http://www.bostontango.org/misc/payment.html for on-line credit card or
e-check payment options for workshops and memberships.

Pablo Veron is probably the most famous, and widely acknowledged as
probably the most talented, of his generation of Tango dancers. He was
the principal star and choreographer of the movie The Tango Lesson,
which is the best-known Tango movie in recent years. He won the American
Choreography Award in 1998 and danced at the White House for the
Clintons in 1999. He was guest artist and star of Broadway's Tango
Argentino at the Gershwin Theatre, and has danced in innumerable other
exhibitions and dance companies, including Les Folies Bergere in Paris.

Noel Strazza has been dancing as Pablo Veron's partner for 2 years,
giving workshops and exhibitions in Europe, the U.S. and Canada,
including at the Varmland Classic Festival in Sweden. She has studied at
the National School of Dances and the Contemporary Dance School of
Teatro San Martin. In 1998 she won the special award as dancer and
choreographer at the 5th Festival of Amazonas in Brazil.
