Dear Friends, We - Trey, Ricardo and Reba -- are sad to say that there will be no SPICE party this Wednesday at Octagon. It was a lovely gathering last week, but the financial burden in that space is just too heavy for us to carry.
I - Reba -- want to personally thank everyone for a beautiful first season of SPICE Summer Festival on Pier 63. Thanks to all who came and partied, to all who performed and taught, and to all who helped out in so many ways. I feel that I have made many new friends and it has been a real pleasure getting to know and work with so many of you. Our last gatherings post 9/11 were small, but it felt especially meaningful and healing to be together. All in all, it was a beautiful experience in a magical space and we plan to be back next summer for our second season. In the meanwhile, I am looking for new projects, inspirations and plans and will keep you posted when there is news - hopefully soon. Wishing you all peace, wishing the world peace. Love, Reba
