City Place celebrates its first anniversary with a night of Argentine Tango. Osvaldo Barrios and George Vernieri will play the music of Di Sarli, Pugliese and Piazzolla in the plaza in front of the fountain. Couples are invited to dance from 6 to 8 p.m.
City Place can be reached from Exit 52, Okeechobee Blvd., East, off I-95, or from the Okeechobee exit of Florida's Turnpike, East, to the parking garages. All parking is free. Afterwards, you are invited to Cafe L'Europe for the first of their Thursday Tango Evenings, with the music of Osvaldo Barrios and George Vernieri. This will be an on-going event every Thursday from 9:30 to 12:30 at Cafe L'Europe, 331 South County Road, (corner of Brazilian Avenue). Valet and street parking are available.
