Jose Garofalo & Monica Visconti

A new generation of Master, Jose is a renowned teacher with Buenos Aires'
"Confiteria Ideal". He has traveled widely teaching the modern analysis of
Tango's technical and improvisational possibilties.
As a teacher, his mastery of improvisation and his ability to translate
creative variations with clarity and effectiveness create a teaching method
which serves as a superb learning tool for leader and follower alike.
Monica Visconti, with her husband Jorge, has brought to the US the pride and
soulfulness of the Argentine Tango. Founders of the First California Tango
Contest and the American Tango Association, The Viscontis have performed
throughout the Orient; artistically directed and performed: Tango In the
Plaza/City of LA; Latino Interantional Film Festival directed by James
Olmos;
Commercials with Oliver Stone and Sanyo, The MOCA; LA Philharmonic; KCET,
KNBC, OPRAH, & E Entertainment.
Monica also teaches Tango classes in Los Angeles and San Diego, where they
have their own Milonga.

--Concert & Tango Exhibition, 4-5pm followed by Milonga 5-9pm with Live
Music (Three 45 minute sets); $25 in Advance; $30 at the door.
