Sorry to dissappoint you, but been there ,done that, the first time 6 years ago, and the second time , last March, and I danced each time to a live bandoneonist, Che Molinari, and local singers of tango.In other words, THERE IS a tango community there, so no one has to "get them started". So go and enjoy, and learn how Costa Ricans do tango. Oh and, if you have what it takes, go beyond San Jose, and to Fortuna and dance tango under errupting Volcan Arenal as we did, stones, ash and fire falling from the sky. Romantic, isnt it? we nearly got kicked out by park rangers, as we jumped the barb wire to get to the Volcano. Lisandro y Hormiga
