You might consider including New York in your Christmas and New Years travel plans. There are numerous milongas here in NYC during the week and especially on the weekend but this holiday season should be special. As we continue to dig out we're coming out dancing. "The Early Bird/Night Owl Christmas Gala Milonga" on Dec. 22 will be a fun night for all no matter how early or late you want to stay out. Festivities will start at 9:00 PM for those that want to come and dance and then retire early but will continue on until 4:00 AM for the latecomers and nightowls and milongueros. There will be door prizes and a buffet with roast ham and turkey and plenty of food and drink incl. champagne for all. As always there will be live and recorded music and one price covers all and it is still only $15. for the entire evening!! Come to New York and have a tango weekend with all the dancing you could ever want. Dress up in red/ black and silver (optional) and bring your cameras (sorry no videos) to take back home some memories (you never know who will show up at these milongas). A splendid time is guaranteed for all. Still itching to dance after Christmas but can't wait until New Year's Eve? On Saturday Dec. 29 there will be a "Pre-New Year's Eve Tango Salon". Party favors, champagne, wine and food all night. As always live music and the best of recorded tangos, valses and milongas from the 30s,40s & 50s. Also just $15. On a tight budget?
