Rather than watch football on TV, you can dance tango in Dallas on New Year's Day...
On January 1, 2002 Lisa Ellison will host her second annual New Year's Day milonga at Salon Pavadita in Dallas, Texas. DJ Stephen Brown will begin playing music at 1:30 p.m. In keeping with New Year's Day traditions, and to provide the energy for a long day of dancing, those attending are encouraged to bring food to share and create a potluck dinner. (Even though it is relatively easy to pick up a bag of chips at a convenience store, dancers who are unable to bring food to share are still welcome.)
