Dear Friends,
This is Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo. We are planning to be in San
Francisco from January 30 to February 6 and for the first time in your
beautiful city we are organizing two special workshops -- one workshop for
women, the other for men.
You are probably wondering why we are doing separate workshops if tango is a
dance for two. In the last few years of teaching, we have discovered that
men and women have a different role in tango. Each role needs to experience
their own time and to know their space and function in tango. Each role is
very important and compliments the other.
We have developed a class to work with leads, axels, postures, the difference
in timing and to answer any doubts you may have. One of the things we focus
on is the importance of the space that is occupied by the man and the woman.
The workshops will be limited to approximately 12 men and 12 women.
The price is $40.
