TANGO GELATO WILL HOST BAY AREA ARGENTINE TANGO ASSOCIATION ON THIRD
SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH!
A Free Activity for Your Family to Enjoy!

Oakland, CA, February 1, 2002 - Tango dancing in an ice cream parlor?
Yes - it's available at Tango Gelato, the Bay Area's only Argentine
gelato shop. And now it's going to be a regular event thanks to dancers
from the Bay Area Argentine Tango Association. By special arrangement,
Tango Gelato will host the Bay Area Argentine Tango Association on the
third Sunday of every month, beginning on February 17, 2002, from 3 - 5
PM. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the dancing, music and fun!
It's free!
"Giving the public a place to watch tango dancing for free is another
way we hope to share the rich culture of Argentina," said Tango Gelato
owner, Joaquin Pochat. "We wanted to make it a regular event because
people seem to enjoy the dancing as much as our authentic Argentine gelato."
"We enjoy dancing at Tango Gelato because it gives the public access to
the art of Argentine tango," said Deby Novitz, who is vice president of
the Bay Area Argentine Tango Association. "The Bay Area probably has
the largest community of Argentine tango dancers and our organization
can help people find Argentine tango instructors who offer classes in
their neighborhood."

Who: The general public is invited to watch members of the Bay Area
Argentine Tango Association dance.
