A Puro Tango presents a fun-filled week of classes with Gloria & Eduardo Arquimbau, two living legends of tango, March 5-10 in Los Angeles. Gloria and Eduardo began dancing together when Gloria was only 13 and Eduardo was 23. They have been performing for over 40 years, and have starred in their own TV variety show in Argentina, in "Tango Argentino," the original company of "Forever Tango," and other shows too numerous to list here. They are great showmen and never fail to delight audiences. PLUS Eduardo is also one of the great milongueros of his generation--the guys who grew up dancing in the milongas in the early-mid 1950s. Gloria is a wonderful and creative milonguera and her adornments are great fun to watch and learn. They are wonderful instructors and are two of the teachers most responsible for the worldwide popularity of "club" or rhythmic style tango. They have taught this style, which is once again the predominant style in today's crowded milongas of Buenos Aires, all over the world. The style is very rhythmic, very close and VERY FUN. (And ladies--if you get the chance to dance with Eduardo you can then die a happy woman. It is heaven!) A class with Gloria and Eduardo is a joyous experience and they are a hit everywhere they teach. Space is limited, so we strongly recommend pre-registration.
