The Tango Society of Central Illinois is hosting a milonga from 9 PM - 12:30 AM on Saturday March 9 at the Phillips Recreation Center at the corner of Springfield and McCullough in Urbana, IL. The cost of admission is $3.
The Phillips Recreation Center has a large hardwood floor (2300 sq ft) and an excellent sound system for your enjoyment. The Phillips Recreation Center is a smoke-free environment. Prior to the milonga, at 7:30 PM, there will an introductory lesson for newcomers to tango. The lesson costs $5, and includes admission to the milonga. During the afternoon there will also be Intermediate Level workshops given by Fred and Yermen Romero from Chicago: 2:00 - 3:30 : Milonga 3:45 - 5:15 : Salon Style Tango These workshops will be held at 314 A Illini Union on the University of Illinois campus.
