They will also teach a fourth workshop on Argentine
Folk Dances (Chacarera, gato, etc.) wich are usualy
extremely fun.
Analia&Marcelo style of teaching and performing takes
by surprise their audiences with their endless flow of
creativity, their unique aproach and insights at
solving problems. On the dance floor, their sense of
musicality and connection are rarely found elsewhere.
Not to be missed their Sunday night performance at
Sonny's, that includes Marcelo on "Malambo and
boleadoras".

Analia Vega and Marcelo Varela are an exciting young
couple who have an impressive list of accomplishments.
Marcelo was involved in the two-years world tour with
the hit Broadway Show "Forever Tango", and during the
past year Analia&Marcelo have been the Directors,
Choreographers and Dancers in the successful
dinner-dance Show at Caqo 14 in Buenos Aires. They are
active as teachers and performers in the Buenos Aires
Tango scene, constantly invited at the most popular
Milongas, Grisel, La Catedral, La Galeria del Tango,
Dandi, Salon Canning Parakultural, where they often
perform to the live music of Color Tango Orchestra.
Analia&Marcelo dance Ballet, Argentine Folk Dance, and
Tango. They have performed and taught numerous "Tango
workshops" in Argentina (Buenos Aires);
Peru (Lima); U.S.A. (New York, Miami, Seattle, San
Francisco, Houston, Chicago); Canada (Toronto,
Vancouver); Switzerland (Zurich, Kur, Sant Gallen,
Basel); Germany (Freiburg, Stuttgart, Karlsrue);
Sweden (Estocolmo); Italy (Venice, Padua).They also
took part in "Tango Festivals" in Switzerland, Sweden,
and Italy. They were casted to perform as Tango
dancers in the movie "Evita" directed by Alan Parker.

4:30-6:00pm
Musicality: dancing to different orchestras,
D'Arienzo, Di Sarli, Pugliese, intro to Piazzolla's
Nuevo Tango.
Intermediate and advanced levels $20

6:00-7:30pm
Argentine Folk Dances: Gato, Chacarera, Zapateo
(footwork) and Chamami.
(Ladies and Gentelmen:bring low heel comfortable
shoes, jazz dance shoes, soft sole shoes or sneakers).
No experience required $20
