Seattle has a great tango community with places to go dancing tango nearly every night of the week, many great teachers, special tango balls, performances and visits by tango masters. If you, or friend you know are interested in learning, Sue Cole and I (Clay Nelson) are offering the following new six-weeks series classes starting April 10, 2002.
7:00-8:00 PM - Absolute Beginners Argentine Tango If you wanted to learn Argentine tango but thought perhaps it was too difficult or complicated, then this is the class for you! We present the material in a simple, straight forward and easy to understand manner which makes it possible for you to join us out social dancing within a matter of weeks. No partner or previous dance experience is necessary. $40/person for the series 8:00-9:15 PM - Intermediate Argentine Tango Our mission in this class series is to help you improve your social dance skills. Each night we will focus on specific topics such as musicality, navigation, connection, embrace, embellishments, etc. No partner is necessary. $45/person for the series.
