"Many Milongueros; Many Tango Languages"

The term "Milonguero" honors the style and dancing of the older
gentlemen of the dance floors of Buenos Aires. Dancing in Denver;
recalls the Buenos Aires experience.

We'll have 50 - 60 visitors and 100-120 locals, so the milongas are
going to be exciting yet friendly. The milonguero weekend is about
SOCIAL DANCING, not SHOW TANGO.

About the Memorial Day Milonguero Weekend.

This is a tango festival, a full weekend of dancing, classes and
meeting friends from around the country. You can dance 30 or more
hours if your feet hold out.

Unlike many festivals, the primary focus is on social dancing, not
show tango or exhibitions. The classes are designed for mixing and
getting to know all the visitors, building a common language of
tango, and dancing till dawn.

We're keeping prices low and the fun high.

nerve, force, character...I tried to restore to the tango
its masculine quality." -- Juan D'Arienzo (1949)
