I am very pleased to announce the return to Tampa Bay of Fabian Salas and
Carolina del Rivero!
Fabian and Carolina will be conduction a full weekend of workshops on April
26, 27, and 28th.
The weekend will consist of 1 multi-level class, 4 intermediate classes, 4
advanced classes, plus a milonga. There will also be a second regularly
scheduled milonga that is hosted by another organizer.
Most of you are very familiar with Fabian and Carolina and know of their
impeccable credentials and reputations, but for those that are new to the
world of Tango and this list, here is a little info about them.
Fabian and Carolina are one of the world's foremost couples representing the
new generation of today's Tango dancers. Fabian was one of the driving
forces behind a group of teachers in Argentina that spent a number of years
investigating the many possibilities that Tango movements encompass. From
that effort they created the world's best system of analysis to understand
and communicate the intricacies of Tango in easy to understand language.
Many people refer to this as Tango Nuevo and Fabian is one its most gifted
teachers and performers. Fabian and Carolina will help you to discover the
Tango that is within you as they focus on technique and improvisation.
They will work on various components that make up Tango, such as: walks,
ochos, gyros, sacadas, ganchos, boleos, molinetes, and change of directions.
They will help you to improve your balance, control, navigation, and
musicality. You will learn how to maintain your axis and to understand your
partners. Regardless of your chosen style, working on these components will
make you a better partner.
Fabian speaks fluent English and is an extremely articulate teacher.
Whatever level your dancing is, your skills will be improved and enhanced
during these workshops. Don't miss this opportunity to learn form the
organizer of the world's largest Tango Congress (CITA) in Buenos Aires and
one of the stars of the critically acclaimed move 'The Tango Lesson'.

4:30pm- 5:45pm - Class 5 - Milonga (Advanced)
Sunday, April 28th

12:30pm- 1:45pm - Class 7 - Milonga (Intermediate)
