It's happening this coming weekend, Fri-Sun, May 10-12, 2002--Seattle's
First-Ever Tango Marathon.
The complete shedule is shown below, but here are a few items of note.
(1) The Friday class, "Tango for Dummies" will run from 8:00-9:30 PM (instead
of 7:30-9:00), and the milonga will start at 9:30 PM (instead of 9:00).
(2) Don't forget, if you bring an "absolute beginner" with you to the class
and milonga on Friday evening you will get in two-for-one--that is, pay ONLY
$15 and the two of you get the class and milonga.
(3) The Sunday class and Tango Tea will be at the Wilsonian Ballroom, 4718
University Way NE.
(4) The "Gold Package" (which must be purchased before 8:00 PM Friday May 10,
2002) is a great deal! For only $50 you get all 5 workshops, Fri Milonga,
Saturday Practica, Sunday Tango Tea and $2 discount on the Sat All-Night
Milonga. See below for details.
(5) The "Silver Package" (only $40 and must be purchased before 12:30 PM
Satuday May 11, 2002) gets you in all 4 Saturday and Sunday workshops,
Practica, Tango Tea and $1 discount of the All-Night Milonga.
(6) And for you "out-of-towners" many Seattle tangueros have offered their
homes or apartments for you to stay in for free.
