Greetings, Danel and Maria are very pleased to announce a special milonga in celebration of Argentina's Independence Day this Saturday night. Not only will there be lots of great food (the usual munchies, cheese, crackers, chips etc plus roast turkey, sausage and peppers, salad, wine, beer, champagne, coffee, tea, desserts) but the music will be provided by a great sextet ensemble comprised of the very best tango musicians performing today. On bandoneons the internationally known and renowned Raul Juarena, accompanied by Tito Castro, the dance and rhythm maestro and one of New York's favorite dance musicians. They will be joined by Mauricio Najt, a great pianist and Pablo Aslan on bass, well known to many around the country for his music seminars. To top it off, Leonardo Saurez Paz, from Forever Tango and many other venues with a special guest will be rounding out the ensemble on violins. It is a rare occasion to have all these great musicians together as one group. We are very excited about this here in New York and ho pe that those outside of the city will also take advantage of this special evening. Want to know what it is like to dance to great live music? This is your chance to find out.
All this great evening can be enjoyed for a donation of only $20. Come early, come late. The festivities start at 9:30 PM and go until 3:00 AM.
