Dear friends,
I cannot adequately describe the sorrow in my heart for the passing of
our dear friend, Dale Meyer, the bandoneonist and leader of the Strictly
Tango Band.
Dale and the band had provided the live music last evening at the Moulin
Rouge Gala Milonga here in the San Francisco Bay Area and had returned
to his home when he suffered a fatal heart attack.
Dale was a man who had brought great joy to many Tango events with his
music. He was my dearest friend, my soul mate. No kinder, more
considerate and gentle man has walked this planet. Ginger and I loved
him greatly, and he will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
I post this message while in the deepest of pain - - I wish I could
better express my feelings.
Love to all.

We have very sad news to tell you. Our dear Dale Meyer, band leader of
Strictly Tango, passed away last night.
We are so stunned and sad. It is difficult to say anything.
What a loss to all of us that know him. What a dear, sweet, generous,
kind gentleman, we have lost.
We are all still united with Dale with our memories and love.
We want to thank Dale for playing so beautifully last night at the
Moulin Rouge Milonga. We were so impressed with all the newpieces that
you
learned, you have come so far.
Thank you Dale for all you have given us.
We love you Dale and you are still with us.

'There is a land of the living
and a land of the dead
and the bridge is love
the only survival,
the only meaning'
