It is with great pleasure that we announce the 5th Annual Weekend of Tango
in Tampa to take place August 23rd, 24th, and 25th.
This full weekend of Tango including workshops, milongas, and a spectacular
show is the biggest Tango event of the year here in Tampa Bay, Florida.
This year we feature two couples that are at the very top of the Argentine
Tango world, Mora Godoy & Junior Cervila and Carolina Zokalski & Diego Di
Falco!
For the workshops we will have two separate classrooms allowing us to have
an entire weekend of intermediate classes as well as an entire weekend of
advanced classes. There will be 8 intermediate and 8 advanced classes over
the three days. The two couples will alternate between the two levels so
everyone will have 4 classes with each couple.
There will be a milonga each of the three nights with Sunday's evening being
our annual presentation of "A Night of Tango in Tampa!" This is the one
time of the year that we really promote Tango to the general public. The
evening will include dinner, a milonga with live music, and a full show on
stage. The show will be starring our two featured couples plus a wonderful
Argentine singer, Dario Roca, and the music of Trio de Tango - Miguel
Arrabal (bandoneon), Jorge Vernieri (piano), and Rances Colon (bass). The
show will also include performances by some of the top Tango dancers from
the South Eastern United States.
We welcome Tango enthusiasts from other communities to come and visit us
here in Florida, where you can come for the Tango and add a beach stay or a
couple of days at one of Orlando's many theme parks to your vacation.
For those of you not familiar with our two featured couples, I'd like to
tell you a little about them. Following these brief descriptions is the
full schedule and pricing for the weekend's events.

Carolina Zokalski and Diego Di Falco
Carolina Zokalski and Diego Di Falco are equally comfortable performing on
stage, dancing in a crowded milonga, or teaching master classes.
Carolina and Diego were featured dancers in the hit Broadway show, "Forever
Tango" and starred in "Tango Magic" on PBS.
They grew up in the milongas of Buenos Aires and that experience is obvious
even in their stage dancing. They have impeccable reputations as teachers
that have made them New York's most popular Tango couple.
They are famous for their classes that feature specific technique for men
and women and for being able to communicate a great sense of musicality.
Carolina and Diego were one of the most popular teaching couples at the
2002 United States Tango Congress. People really enjoyed their classes
because their material was useful and challenging and presented in a very
enjoyable manner.
Their teaching has become so renown that they were asked to produce a series
of videos for The Tango Catalog. These videos cover the entire spectrum of
Tango from basic technique and social dancing, to stage performing. The
entire series of videos has been so successful that they are continually
amongst the best sellers in the catalog.

Mora Godoy and Antonio Cervila Junior
Mora Godoy and Antonio Cervila "Junior" are dynamic performers and wonderful
teachers.
Mora has been a featured dancer in "Tango X Two", one of the most respected
Tango dance companies in the world. She also has one of the world's most
popular series of Tango teaching videos.
Junior has been a lead dancer in many world class Tango shows and he had a
featured role in the Academy Award nominated movie, "Tango" by famed
director Carlos Saura.
Together they are the starring couple of "Tanguera", the new, critically
acclaimed stage production that is selling our in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mora has one of the most successful Tango schools in Buenos Aires and
together they were one of the favorite couples teaching at CITA 2002, the
biggest and most prestigious Tango Congress in the world.
Their teaching is very clear and easy to understand. They focus on proper
technique for social, improvisational dancing and are excellent role models,
individually and as a couple. You will find their classes exciting and down
to earth. You will learn things that will make your dancing look better and
feel better, both for you and your partner. Whether your goal is to improve
your ability to perform or navigate better on a crowded dance floor, you
will find Mora and Juniors classes to extremely beneficial.
