FRI AND/OR SAT: Warm-up class in Yoga stretches or
Pilates-based exercises,  4
classes 1 1/2 hrs, guided practica, brown bag
lunchtime talks.
 9:30-5:30
$105 ea. day
SUN: Yoga for tango or practica, 3 classes 1 1/2 hrs,
guided practica.
9:30-3:00 ---$80.
3:00-- On to Il Campanello Restaurant for dining,
dancing and entertainment.

Jam-packed OPENING EVENT at the Argentine Consulate includes

l. With PABLO ASLAN, experience TANGO MUSIC HISTORY as you never have:
enjoy an illustrated music tour
by this bassist, composer and tango music historian, a founding
member of the New York-Buenos Aires Connection, etc., and
someone who also tours with the likes of Yo Yo Ma.

2.  SEE THE DOCUMENTARY FILM by New York tangueros who are also filmmakers
(Nancy Stevens, Jan Gero):
a SNEAK PREVIEW and only NY showing of the
documentary film, "I'M TAKING TANGO LESSONS"
(It will be seen on PBS in the fall.)
Their publicity material says, "Ordinary New Yorkers
who work by day and at night become tango vampires describe their obsession
with this sexy, impossible dance."
The film shows the New York "scene", and includes 25
interviews with our compatriots who share the passion.

3.HONOR REBECCA SHULMAN & DANIEL TRENNER.
two native New Yorkers who helped start the whole salon
tango passion in New York, and in the U.S.
and
ACKNOWLEDGE ALICIA CRUZADO who has organized free classes
with the cooperation of the great teachers of NYC.

between 5th and 6th Ave.
Doors open at 6:30. Come early as seating is limited.
Program starts promptly at 7:00
