As most everyone knows, Argentina is going through one of the worst
economic crises in its history <http://www.tejastango.com/argentina.html>.
Children are the greatly affected by this situation.  A number of groups
throughout the United States are organizing events to raise funds to aid
Argentine people in need.  The Austin tango community joins in this effort
hosting an event to benefit children in Argentina on Friday, July 26 in
Austin, Texas.

This fundraising event includes live music by Glover Gill and Son Y No Son,
a dance demonstration by the Aztlan Dance Co., and a silent auction
offering original paintings, prints, tango shoes, dance lessons and
Argentine arts and crafts.

non-profit organization in Argentina that provides food and medicine to
