September 13th and 14th, 8:00pm, at the Century Ballroom, 915 E. Pine St. Seattle WA. The Century Ballroom Cafi doors open at 6:00 pm for dinner. Reservations are strongly suggested. Tickets are available through Ticket Window (206-325-6500) <ticketwindowonline.com> for $20.00, which includes the social dance following the show (Tango on Friday, Salsa on Saturday). Patricio Touceda started his dance studies at the age of ten. For fifteen years, he has studied Tango with masters such as Juan Carlos Copes, Pepito Avellaneda, Mingo Pugliese and Gustavo Naveira. To compliment his art, he also studied Argentinean Folkloric dances, ballet, modern jazz and salsa. He has appeared in numerous stage productions in Argentina, Spain, Uruguay, Germany and Brazil including Escuela de Tango (as choreographer), The Great Dance Man (with Juan Carlos Copes), and Forever Tango. His film credits include Evita, Tango and The Tango Lesson. Eva Lucero began studying ballet at the age of seven. She completed her studies in the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires. She also studied modern dance in the school of the San Martin Theater. She learned Tango from the most famous milongueros of Buenos Aires in the milongas. Her professional career started in 1992 as a Prima Ballerina of the Ensemble Ballet. She also performed in Luna Park with The Royal Ballet. As a Tango dancer, she has appeared in stage productions in Argentina, Brazil, Japan and the U.S. including Forever Tango and Malambo.
