Old LL did pretty well with his philosophy so we¹ve adopted it "Sell a good product at a reasonable price and treat your customers like human beings and they¹ll keep coming back." Style: We believe that your tango shoes should be elegant and timeless. Our designs reflect that philosophy. All our shoes are designed with classic styling. They are meant to look as stylish and handsome next year as they do right now. We carefully research shoe designs from the past and update them to work in the milongas of today. Quality: We are committed to bringing you handmade shoes made from quality leathers and constructed using time-tested methods. With care, these shoes generally last for a year or more of regular dancing. Some people are still wearing the first pair they bought three years ago. Customer Service: We genuinely enjoy our customers. We try to make it easy to order and are becoming expert in helping you find the perfect model and size for you. Shipping: We charge $10. A pair for shipping to the United States. This may need to change soon because of new postal rates which are calculated according to location. We do not charge for shipping a second pair if the first does not fit. If you can¹t find a pair that fits we refund the cost of the shoes, as well as, your shipping. Because we operate this way, we have discovered that it actually costs us an average of $12 a pair to ship shoes (that¹s just the shipping cost and doesn¹t include time, or packing materials) YIKES!! Anyone have a solution to this? Shoe Care Hints Leather Care Caring for smooth leather is a three-step process. First, clean the shoes with a leather cleaner to remove the surface dirt. Next, condition the leather. Conditioners soften and lubricate the leather. Next, it is time for the polish. A paste polish provides a high-gloss, long-lasting shine, but takes some time to apply. Liquid polish is quick and easy to apply, but must be applied more frequently. Cream polishes provide a happy medium. Suede Care The key to keeping these materials in top shape is preventive maintenance. Before you wear the shoes, protect them with a water and stain repellant designed specifically for suede and nubuck. As soon as the water isn't beading up on the shoes, spray them again. Use a suede brush after dancing to restore the nap and remove surface dirt before it sets in. Be gentle. You can also try vacuuming your suede shoes to remove dust. Rest your Shoes Between Wearings. Rotate your dance shoes. Leather shoes last best if they're rested between wearings, so buy enough that you don't have to wear the same pair every day. Leather retains moisture from your feet, which will eventually cause it to dry and crack if you don't give them a chance to air out for a day or so. Rotating them will help keep them looking better for a longer period. Put Them in Trees If you want your shoes to keep their shape. Store them away from heat, which dries the leather and may cause cracking. Also, keep shoes in a dry place to avoid mildew. Use a Shoe Horn For oxfords or other flat shoes, using a shoe horn will keep the back of your shoe from breaking, and will preserve the shape of the heel.
