To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, LaMorocha Productions presents, Amor de Tango show and milonga with live music, dance performances, and dancing.
Featured guest artists are Quejas de Bandoneon orquestra from Bologna, Italy. Philadelphia Duo Julio Gabrielli on Guitar and Juan Prado on Bandoneon. Singer Katie Viqueria, from Boston, dancers Pablo Fontana from Washington, DC who performed at President Bush's Inagural Ball and helped choreograph the Tango piece in the latest Madonna tour, with Carolina Juarena, (daughter of Raul Juarena NY Tango Trio) N.Y. who danced in a scene from the movie Random Hearts starring Harrison Ford and at the Lincoln Center. Local instructors Steve Mason, Jacki Stahl, David Walter and Shana Vitoff will also perform. A drawing for prizes will also take place.
