All,

I am starting 6 weeks of classes on
Thursday nights starting on September 26th
at the Brazilian Cultural Center,
310 Webster Ave, Cambridge.

Please, spread the word. Its looking like
I'll have pretty good attendance, but there
are plenty of people who are looking for
classes and aren't getting the word.

Class space is limited, so act quickly and tell
your friends.

I have posted details at www.tangonow.com.

See you on the dance floor,
Tom English

-------------------------------------------

6:30 pm Level I: Entry-level

We study the basic techniques required to get you
out and onto the dance floor. Your partners will
know that you have been focusing on the fundamentals
required to keep a comfortable connection with your
    partner.

For those of you who are new to this dance,
you should know that the ability to maintain
a comfortable connection between you and your
partner is what will make you popular on the
    dance floor.

8:00 pm Level II: Continuing

If you are taking this course, then you probably
    know my teaching style:

You will continue to hear the comments that
you will hear in your private lessons.

You will continue to cleanup your technique so that
your partner will stick around for more dances.

       We will study:

walking, ochos, pivots, turns and rock steps.

Occassional introduction to Level III techniques
such as:

          stops, drags and sacadas

to illustrate how the perfection of your level I
and level II techniques will open doors for you.

IMPORTANT:

In MY own private lessons, I ask my instructor to
help me to improve my ability to maintain a great
connection with my partner

and

I ask that it be taught through exercise of walking, ochos,

pivots, turns and rock steps.

And, I like the rate at which I improve my dancing!

So, in MY Level I and Level II classes, expect me to work
on improving your techniques and NOT on difficult patterns.

Look closely, and you will see that I am NOT doing
difficult patterns on the dance floor.

I am doing alot on the floor because I am making sure that
we are both comfortable. When we are both comfortable, it
is
so easy to add passionate AND playful musicality to the
dance!

I will be teaching the follower the technique required
to be comfortable and technically correct on the dance
floor

and

I will be teaching the leader the technique required
to be sure that the follower is comfortable.

Watch what happens!
