Thank you, it's very nice of you.

I can't answer you for every Argentine people. If you know Buenos Aires you
know that each milonguero is a teacher and have their own style and their own
thoughts about this.

I like fantasy tango but I think that the it is just for de scenery or just for
an exhibition. I mean for those places where you can develop the dance without
kick or push others dancers who have the same rights than they have . In the
milongas I often find out very good dancer, many of them are professionals
others think that they are. Then, when they push or kick to me or my partner, I
think to myself they are not good dancers nor persons. I usually say to them:
(in Spanish) bajate del escenario get down from stage .

I don t like to use gingada because I would not like they call me sudaca .

Sincerely , Julio C.

Hi Julio,
Thank you for your comments. They are very informative.
It seems that Carlitos danced the style of tango popular among the Argentinians
of his time, according to your and other comments I received. Apparently this
style is still popular in Argentina today. Do the Argentinians think that the
fantasy tango stuff being exported to the "gringada" these days is a bit silly?
:)
Consuelo
