Yvonne Meissner from Amsterdam will be teaching group classes,
privates, and semi-privates on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia,
from October 23 to 30.
Connection and non-verbal communication are important aspects of
Yvonne Meissner's teaching philosophy. Drawing on her experience with
the Alexander technique and contact Improvisation as well as Tango,
she is an expert in analyzing movement and providing feedback that
can be used to improve form immediately. Dancing in the best salons
in Buenos Aires, Yvonne has learned tango from the most respected
milongueros, and has been teaching tango all over the world for the
last ten years. As a dancer she has developed a set of follower
adornments, which are both entertaining and rich in their expressive
