TANGO ELEGANTE WELCOMES ROSA AND CARLOS Please join hosts Ellen Sowchek and Jonelle Carter as Tango Elegante, the weekly Tuesday night milonga at the Dulaine DanceCenter,welcomes Rosa and Carlos for a special performance on Tuesday, October 1, 2002.
After more than one year of teaching and performing in Paris and Buenos Aires, Rosa and Carlos returned the US and settled in New Jersey, where they run New Jersey s only weekly milonga, the popular Pasional on Thursday night, and a twice monthly Saturday milonga, Sabados de tango. Rosa and Carlos dance a salon style of tango that is passionate, personal and accessible. They do not consider themselves as dancers in a classical tradition, but rather as artists raised in inventive environments where every dance affords the opportunity to create a unique and singular work of art.
