January 7 we arrive Buenos Aires (noon) and jump into milongas that night! 

Maria Teresa Lopez will be our hostess. It is SUCH AN ADVANTAGE to attend 

milongas with her, learn "the codes", and meet nice people and great dancers 

through her. 

Jan. 8 and 9, we tour with MT, the great sights of Buenos Aires, and take 

classes with some of the finest teachers of tango ion the world.

Jan 10 we fly to Rio de Janeiro and take in more of the great Tango and Samba 

clubs there by night, explore Rio by day.

Jan. 12  Return to Buenos Aires Sunday night, for another milonga.

Jan. 13     We meet with our teachers for dinner, to enjoy new friends and 

time together.

Jan. 14      Leave for Esquel, Argentina, meet the Earthriver bus, and go to 

the River camp. 

Jan. 15  We train with outrigger canoes and rafting.

Jan. 16: Raft or horseback ride through Infierno canyon,, spend night at Cave 

Camp, with HOT TUB!

Jan. 17:    Climb and rappel, tyrolean across river and trek to Tree House 

camp

Jan. 18:    Trek down to river. Zip line across, and raft to original 

starting camp.

Jan. 19:    Raft biggest rapids all day. Back to hotel in Esquel. farewell 

dinner.

Jan. 20: Back to Buenos Aires for last tangos! Leave on night flight home 

or...

Jan. 21:    Leave for home.


Known as the “world’s wildest most comfortable river trip”, the Futaleufu is 

a Caribbean turquoise blue river, fed by Andean glaciers. We travel by rafts, 

tuck in with catered camping at night in cave camps and tree houses. Each 

camp has a stone hot tub, fireplace, sky lights and streams with waterfalls

Buenos Aires, two nights dancing in Rio de Janeiro (optional),*and six days 

on the river trip.

and leaving Buenos Aires, but including all travel and lodging within S. 

America and many other goodies. AS OF AUG. 10, $1,00O deposit holds your 

place. The balance is due NOV. 7, 2002.

 Keep in mind Argentina will be a good dollar value this year.
