Originally from the United States, Brooke moved to Buenos Aires over 5 years ago to deepen her understanding of the dance and the culture, studying with many of the older generation's tango masters and the younger generation's most innovative leaders. Brooke teaches and performs tango in Buenos Aires, the U.S. and Canada and has made instructional videos with Daniel Trenner and Mariano Frumboli (better known as "Chicho"). An expert leader AND follower dedicated to improvisation and expression, Brooke has an innovative teaching style that allows students to be creative from the start and encourages exploration and play at all levels. Among her most influential teachers are Gustavo Naveira & Olga Besio, Fabian Salas, Chicho, Graciela Gonzalez, Florencia Taccetti, Mingo &Esther Pugliese, Daniel Trenner, and Juan Bruno.
