The lessons are at the usual Club times, 7:30 PM for beginners and 8:15 PM for intermediates, then dancing from 9 to 10:30 PM. Beginner Lessons Argentine Tango is a close and romantic dance that focuses on the leader and follower moving in close harmony with the music. It relies on improvisation by the leader, as it doesn't have the same reliance on formal structure like other dances. Roxana and Fabian will focus on basics, fundamentals, leading and following techniques, balance and coordination. One lead guides two bodies and four legs. That is why it is so important to refine your leading. Intermediate Lessons Fabian will show men how to provide their partners the room and opportunity to adorn the dance. He will also show how to improvise & navigate on crowded dance floors. Roxana will teach women how to take advantage of those openings to display their grace and elegance. Together, they will help leaders and followers execute the perfect circle around a clear axis (to the right and to the left) to open up many possibilities within the dance and to create exciting combinations. Partners learn to help each other's balance instead of pulling each other off balance. There will also be tips on techniques and requirements for social dancing.
