The Los Angeles Tango Fireworks festival is organized by Linda Valentino. It features an outstanding array of teachers, including a first time appearance in this area of perhaps the most famous teaching couple in the world, Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne. The other oustanding teachers on their staff are Carlos Copello and Alicia Monti, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Milena Plebs and Ezequiel Farfaro, and Aurora Lubiz and Jorge Firpo. Of course there will be a maestros show and dancing to live music with Color Tango orchestra. I have attended the previous festivals and they are always a knock-out. Linda spares no pains to give the students a first class experience, including stretching classes, refreshments and excellent hotel and workspace. This festival runs from June 27th - July 5th, but can also be purchased for attendance in its entirety or by one of two week-ends.
For those folks who wish to attend Linda's Tango week or week-end, I am offering a special discount if you contact me first prior to registration. I will help to pair up room-mates if you are interested, or try to coordinate rides from and to the LA airport.
